History of Michael Collins Division 11
In April 2001 The Michael Collins Division 11 of the AOH was formed in Hampton Bays. The formation can be credited to Dan Heaney, Division's first president
and 15 charter Members who undertook a Shamrock Degree in May 2001. This Charter nucleus has continued to grow to over 120 members under the presidency of
Michael Quinlan and later John Ryan. The Division holds its monthly meetings on the first Thursday of every month at the Knight's of Columbus Council in Hampton Bays.
A Ladies LAOH was formed recently and is now active with 80 members. The continued ambitious undertaking of hosting a St. Patrick's Day Parade is a testament
to the enthusiasm and energy of this newly formed Irish fraternal organization
